Editorial Complaints Policy

The Gawker takes complaints about editorial content seriously. We deal with complaints about editorial material in our publications and the digital services that we control. This includes:

  • articles
  • images and videos
  • readers’ letters
  • user comments

Anyone who is the subject of a publication or has been affected by our editorial material can make a complaint.

We accept complaints via email address: [email protected]. Complaints must include a link to the relevant material and any other documents that will help us assess your complaint. We will deal promptly with complaints and may request further information from you to enable us to investigate your complaint. We may decline to consider any complaint that is abusive or gratuitously offensive.

If we accept that your complaint is valid, we will seek to remedy the breach as quickly as possible with a correction or apology. When handling your complaint we will treat you fairly, courteously and with respect.
